Murmullo Special Reserve 2011


Origin: Viñedos Puertas very own grapes from Los Maitenes, Isla de Marchant, Curicó Valley, Los Andes.
Variety: Syrah with 7% Petit Verdot.
Harvest: Manual, during April.
Ageing: 12 months in French Holm oak barrels and 6 months in bottles.
Color: Strong reddish purple intensity.
Aroma: Ripe red fruits, hints of raspberry and cherry. Elegant notes of toasted wood.
Palate: Full and juicy, concentrated with a full flavor. Integrated well with oak. Ripe tannins, smooth yet strong, with a long finish.
Food pairing: Red meats, game meats and blue cheeses.
Serving temperature: 16 to 18°C.
